TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade - What It IsTab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace. They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow. The SoftwareAvailable: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.FIX API is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands. What You PayThree account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.Execution SpeedThis is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.SafetyThis is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision. The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.Deposit BonusTab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding. The full review, covering the full fee table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory check here details, read moretab trade is at tradetheday.com.
