TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
Everything in one place, covering regulation, click here withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is at tradetheday.com.
