TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
